What does unity mean to us
Simply put unity equals strength.
This is a saying that many countries go by, especially one little known country called Haiti. This Caribbean country has even adopted this saying onto their nationanl flag that hangs strong in the household of many of their resident (both on and off the island) Haiti (Ayiti) is home to some of the most beautiful culture on the planet earth. And it’s not just from the glamourous ocean views or the extravagant artwork that you see embodying every city and town. The culture is made up the people that keep Haiti afloat during good times and bad times.
The Nou Fashion House was created with those people in mind as a way to remember the struggles we have all faced since before and after gaining independence in 1804.
At Nou, we hope to spread this feeling of belonging and togetherness by utilizing fashion as our way to unite the people both on and off the island. We hope to gain the hearts of everyone by bringing us back to nature as it was intended and making us whole again.
